NFL WEEK 10 PREVIEW

After 9 weeks of the NFL season in the books, playoff pictures are starting to take shape.  NFC is looking more and more like it has the Super Bowl Champion.  The Texans and the Bears square off this week in what could very possibly be a Super Bowl preview.  I’ll get right into the picks this week….

Detroit Lions @ Minnesota Vikings (+2)

This is a clear cut case of two teams in opposite directions.  The Lions have won 3 of their last 4 with the only loss 13-6 against the Chicago Bears.  The Vikings have lost 3 of their last 4 with the only win against the atrocious Cardinals.  The Lions are hitting on offense finally finding a running game.  Christian Ponder has reverted back to a below average quarterback.  Calvin Johnson and Matthew Stafford will tear up the Vikings secondary.  I think the second and third Lions receivers are in for a big day.  Percy Harvin out with an injury takes away the best weapon on the Vikings offense.

The pick: Lions (-2)

Dallas Cowboys @ Philadelphia Eagles (+2)

Both teams look bad.  The Eagles look worse.  Watching the Eagles play last week, it’s clear the offensive line is non-existent and Michael Vick is a shell of what he used to be.  Each team is playing for their season.  Cowboys have more playmakers and Demarcus Ware is going to have a field day on Vick.

The Pick: Cowboys (-2)
