Trade Gronk…Maybe?!

Today in stupid random Steve thoughts.. Should the Giants call the Pats about Gronk? There were a few articles about this during the week before the Super Bowl because there was really not much else to talk about.  Now that the Pats have won the Super Bowl lets dig a little further into this idea about trading Gronk and since him a Giants Homer, should he come to NY (…NJ)?  Easy answer is both sides would say no this but that isn’t fun, let’s go with both teams want to make a deal and here’s why: Pats Gronk is on Continue reading Trade Gronk…Maybe?!

Now what? A look into the Giants Offseason

Now that we have had a few days to decompress and relax a little after the blowout loss in the playoffs, it is time to give some quick thoughts about the season and how the Giants move on from here. First off, this season is a success.  Yes it could have had a better ending, this Defense can win a Super Bowl, but either way the Giants and Giant fans need to see this year as a big success.  After 3 straight losing seasons and 4 straight years of no playoffs, the New York Football Giants went 11-5 (tied for Continue reading Now what? Wild Card Weekend

Raiders at Texans (-3.5, O/U 36.5) The game we all have been waiting for, the first game of the NFL Playoffs.  In one corner we have Rookie Connor Cook and in the other we have the $72M dollar man Brock Oslweiler.  Ok fine, this isn’t the exact game we were hoping for when the season started.  You would assume Derek Carr needed to have an MVP type year (he did) for Oakland to make its return to the playoff and JJ Watt needed to have another monster year on the other side of the ball (which he did not). But Continue reading Wild Card Weekend

The 2016 GMEN, How they really doing?

The Giants just capped off another nail biting win on Monday Night Football vs the Bengals.  The Giants now sit at 6-3 and have a clear path to the playoffs, next 2 games are vs the 2-7 Bears and 0-9 Browns.  So barring massive brain fart by the Giants they will be 8-3.  Typically I would say the Giants will probably lose one of those game but this is not the Big Blue of the past so I expect them to roll the next two weeks.  (Please don’t let me down Eli!) Lets take a look at a few questions Continue reading The 2016 GMEN, How they really doing?

MLB Playoff Preview / Predictions

162 games per team are in the books and now the real action starts on the diamond.  Every summer you hear the phrase the “Dog Days of Summer” regarding the long baseball season but summer is over and October baseball is already in full force. In 2012 the MLB added in the second wild card creating a one game playoff.  Some hate the after 162 games it all comes down to one game for 4 teams but after its 5th year I think we can all say that this was the right move and creates Game 7 feels to kick Continue reading MLB Playoff Preview / Predictions
