The Circus Returns to MSG

Good news, Derrick Rose was at practice yesterday and will suit up for the Knicks in tonight’s game vs the Sixers.  The bad news is he isn’t returning from an injury, he is returning from going AWOL and literally not showing up to the Knicks home game vs the Pelicans.  A game that Knicks needed to win, and subsequently lost by 14 at home to the PELICANS, they we down 30 at one point.   Then there was this… Perfect timing by Rose to put out this request.  Such a classic Knicks’ player move, strike when the iron is hot, no Continue reading The Circus Returns to MSG

National Championship Game

One last College Football Game!  Hopefully you have been following us all year and raking in the cashhhh. CFB Hot Soup Picks: +15 units Bowl Season: +7.45 Units So close to game time.  The rematch is happening. Clemson.  Alabama. I know Clemson is the trendy pick but I can’t see the Alabama offense moving the ball against a top 5 defense. Jalen Hurts has been brutal against top 25 defenses this year. Mike Williams, Artavis Scott, Ray Ray Mccloud, Jordan Leggett, Continue reading National Championship Game

Pop Culture: Hey Meryl, get lost!

Last night after my Giants got their teeth knocked in by the Packers and ended our season I watched the Golden Globes for a little bit.  Why not watch rich, mostly white people, get all dressed up and pat themselves on the back for a few hours.  Few shout out about the winners, Casey Affleck was so good in Manchester by the Sea, it was well deserved and same for Donald Glover, I’ve been a big fan of his for years and Atlanta is a fantastic new show.  Also I haven’t seen it yet but La La Land better be Continue reading Pop Culture: Hey Meryl, get lost!

Wild Card Weekend

Raiders at Texans (-3.5, O/U 36.5) The game we all have been waiting for, the first game of the NFL Playoffs.  In one corner we have Rookie Connor Cook and in the other we have the $72M dollar man Brock Oslweiler.  Ok fine, this isn’t the exact game we were hoping for when the season started.  You would assume Derek Carr needed to have an MVP type year (he did) for Oakland to make its return to the playoff and JJ Watt needed to have another monster year on the other side of the ball (which he did not). But Continue reading Wild Card Weekend
