The United States of College Football 25 San Jose St 24 Oregon St 23 Northwestern22 Oklahoma 21 Northern Illinois 20 Wisconsin 19 Oklahoma St 18 Nebraska  17 Texas 16 Michigan 15 TCU     The Horned Frogs are one of my favorite teams of the 2013-2014 season.  Casey Paschall is one of my favorite collegiate players.  He is extremely underrated and was raved about in Almost Varsity’s college football preview last year.  After some off-field issues, Paschall was dismissed from the team and could not finish out the season.  He is back this year and will turn some heads across the country. 2012-2013 Bowl Predictions

(12/27) UPDATE: We Are minus 3 units overall so far.Bad weather in Washington, D.C. spells a low scoring affair for the military bowl. Almost varsity changes pick to bowling green +7.  2 units on that. Then duke has gone upto a+10 spread!  Take that with a change of 3.5 to 4 units at +10.  All the original picks have shown us to go against our adage of “don’t bet a team losing the coach”. The adage has shown to be correct. Teams losing the head coaches are getting creamed ats. Rivalry Week 13 Preview

Blood may be shed like this Yusef Kelly kick to the head during rivalry week This is the week in college football where record is irrelevant to many teams.  Look at Auburn this year:  3-8 overall and winless in the SEC.  In the eyes of many Auburn fans, the mediocrity of this season will be erased with a huge upset win over Alabama this week.  The Iron Bowl isn’t the only big rivalry game with BCS implications for one, or both, teams involved.
